Mike Boutet brings defense experience across the high tech industry and the United States Air Force, where he retired as a Colonel. He served as a senior leader at Pacific Air Forces Cyber, Operations, and Space Directorate and as a senior leader at 16th Air Force for the Air Force Network. He founded PACDEF Group to put practical, mission-first expertise in reach of the warfighter, defense contracting teams, and partner nations operating across the Pacific region.
His career spans enterprise IT systems, communications, logistics, healthcare, and intelligence, along with special operations as USSOCOM senior staff and as a USAF Pararescueman and Survival Instructor. He has industry and warfighter experience with emerging technology in 5G, tactical communications, C5ISR, CJADC2, AI, automated systems, and drones. That range anchors consulting that aligns warfighter requirements to major contracts and programs in theater, and a focus on rapid prototyping and scaling of emerging technologies.
